        The GRESD International ESD Research Conference,

                              17-19 May, 2011

Main purpose

- To offer GRESD graduate students and invited international graduate students the opportunity to present research papers

- To offer international key-note presentations to participating graduate students and to other interested parties (open lectures).

  

Participants

International key-note speakers, GRESD graduate  students and supervisors, GRESD scientific committee and their doctoral students, GRESD board, Chinese research collaborators, graduate  students from all over the world invited through Sida-projects, European school initiatives network (ENSI), The Swedish research network in education and sustainable development and many more. The key-notes in afternoons are open events for interested public and will be advertised nation-wide.

  

Themes and issues for key-note presentations

  • How is a research area like ESD defined or delimited?
  • What are the contemporary important discussions and how could they be further researched?
  • What empirical research still needs to be done?
  • What is ESD within different cultural contexts?
  • Implications of ESD research on teaching/learning practice?
